KurdîLit: Network for Kurdish Literature and Publishing in Turkey was designed by Diyarbakır Arts Center, Lîs Publishing House, and Literature Across Frontiers as a first step in a number of planned projects that aim to strengthen the visibility of Kurdish literature.
The Diyarbakır exhibition of BAK: Revealing the City through Memory project will open at Amed Art Gallery on 16 April 2016. The exhibition will be on view until May 8.
The Istanbul exhibition of BAK: Revealing the City through Memory project, realized with the participation of 24 young people from 10 cities across Turkey, will open at DEPO on 4 March 2016. The exhibition, comprising 6 video and 5 photography works will be on view until April 10.
Organized by Goethe-Institut and German Films, Diyarbakır edition of Kino 2015 German Films Program is realized in cooperation with Diyarbakır Arts Center between 26 and 28 November 2015.
The second workshop of BAK 2015 took place in Diyarbakır on 23 – 29 May 2015, with the participation of 24 young people from Balıkesir, Batman, Çanakkale, Diyarbakır, İzmir, Mardin, Muğla, Şırnak and Urfa.
The Secret Life of Stories took place between 2-11 December 2014 in Diyarbakır and Çanakkale.

BAK: Revealing the City through Memory presents its final exhibitions in 5 cities from January t0 March 2014.
The Fire and The Wedding video exhibition takes place between 20 January-5 February 2013 at Sümerpark Amed Gallery with a forum and panel on forced migration.

BAK: Revealing the City through Memory Exhibition at Istanbul DEPO
The Istanbul exhibition of BAK: Revealing the City through Memory project, realized with the participation of 24 young people from 10 cities across Turkey, will open at DEPO on 4 March 2016. The exhibition, comprising 6 video and 5 photography works will be on view until April 10.
BAK: Revealing the City through Memory is a cultural collaboration and artistic production project realized with the participation of young people from different cities of Turkey. Participants from Aydın, Balıkesir, Batman, Çanakkale, Diyarbakır, İzmir, Mardin, Muğla, Şırnak and Urfa, worked together to record different stories about daily life, different life-styles and spaces, past and (post)-memory, migration and cultural diversity in film and photography projects.
The BAK exhibition, the product of a year’s collaborative work and comprising 6 video and 5 photography works will be on view from 5 March to 10 April 2016 in İstanbul, at DEPO. The exhibition which will meet the audinece in Diyarbakır and İzmir afterwards, is presenting in Turkish, Kurdish and English.
Coordinated by Anadolu Kültür ve Diyarbakır Arts Center, the project was implemented in collaboration with Geniş Açı Project Office (GAPO) and docİstanbul – Center for Documentary Studies. The BAK project is funded in part with the support of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Open Society Foundation and the Consulate General of Sweden.
